World Open VI: The victory for Sam Trickett

The World Open Tournament VI brought together 48 poker players and closed with a beautiful triumph of the British Sam Trickett. During four days of competition during which many famous poker players competed to win the prestigious title, the Palm Beach Casino in Mayfair, in London was very animated. Dale Hoy, Andrew Robl, John Duthie, Yevgenjy Timoshenko, Juha Helppi, Toby Lewis and Sam Trickett were the happy qualified for the final table. After five hours of outstanding game, Trickett grabbed the victory by ousting the Ukraine Timoshenko during the final confrontation. Indeed, despite the talent of the Ukrainian and the quality of his game, he unfortunately inclined to the second place after having largely defended his honor on this duel. This strong performance allowed him to pocket a gain of $ 110,000 which will increase his bankroll especially since he has already accomplished many feats in various major events.

As for Sam Trickett, this great trophy increases the number of results in his career as a poker pro. Note that he is currently recording a fourth place at the European Poker Vilamoura, 4 cashes and two final tables at the World Series of Poker. As a reward for this victory, Trickett wins the first prize of $ 200,000. A priori, the great champion of last year Phil Laak could not defend his title. Toby Lewis finished third and collected a gain of $ 75,000.
