World Poker Tour London : Many pros players registered

The World Poker Tour London (WPT) didn't registered a big success. Organized at the margins of the European Poker Tour Vilamoura and the Partouche Poker Tour Cannes, the tournament brought together a field of 166 participants. During the first day of competition, organizers counted 72 inscribed and in the Day 1B, the participation rate increased slightly with 94 participants. Note that these 166 players have paid a buy-in of £ 5,000. But despite this low field, the tournament attracted many famous players such as Richard Ashby, Neil Channing, Frank Kassel, Chris Moorman, Michael Greco, Tony G, Freddy Deeb, Surinder Sunar, Ross Boatman, Bruno Fitoussi, Steven Zan Zadelhoff and many others. They came to show their love for the London stage of the WPT.

They are 90 competitors to have successfully completed the two qualifiers day. Among the remaining players, Erik Seidel with 226,200 chips in hand, Phil Ivey with 146,200 chips and Richard Ashby (229,800) are the best positioned in this race for the title of this prestigious tournament. Other poker pro are also still in the contest and we must say that afterpart of the event promises to be exciting given the number of big players who still compose the field. The chipleader at the start of the Day 2 is Priyan de Mel with a stack of 235,000 chips. Pending the final day scheduled to take place on next Saturday, the remaining players for the final stages of the WPT London will still have an uphill battle to be among the eight finalists.
