Best women poker players : Over $ 2.4 million gain for the 6th
Several criteria can be established to designate the best poker players in the world. But the importance of pocketed gains in live tournaments has been taken as a reference to distinguish the best players in the world. In this category, is classified in the tenth place the woman player from Texas of 38 years old Clonie Gowen who pocketed more than $ 1.6 million, thanks to her win at the $ 5,000 Bellagio Cup IV 2007 that allowed her to collect $ 427,775. Joanne Jishung Liu, another player of Asian origin appear at the sixth place. This 45-year-old Taiwanese earned the sum of $ 2,412,278, including $ 600,000 pocketed during her second place at the WPT San Jose in 2007.
