EPT Tallinn : Kevin Stani won the Estonian stage

It took eight hours of play for the 8 finalists in the final table of the European Poker Tour Tallinn to designate the champion of the main event, who were Kevin Stani, a player in his first victory. This young 27 years old Norwegian is the first to receive the title of champion of the 13 stages of this 7th edition of the EPT with a gain of € 400,000 after his final head's up with the 22 years old Russian Konstantin Bilyauer. Before the coronation, Kevin Stani already achieved very promising results in major poker events like his 127th place finish at the last World Championships of the World Series of Poker 2010 in Las Vegas.



The three contenders for the Estonian tournament of € 4.000 + € 250 Konstantin Bilyauer with 2.498 million chips, Kevin Stani with 2.586 million and 3.72 million for Arnaud Mattern who already owned 75% of the chips at the beginning of the final competition were the best placed to take the title. But after 480 minutes, cards have chosen their camp after eliminating in turn the French, former title holder of the EPT Prague in 2007 and the very young Russian who is in his second participation in live poker tournament. Here is the ranking of EPT Tallinn 2010: Kevin Stani in the first place winning € 400,000, runner up Konstantin Bilyauer with € 250,000, € 160,000 for Arnaud Mattern 3rd, 4th Dmitry Vitkind (€ 120,000), Jaatinen Mikko 5th (€ 80,000), 6th Steven van Zadelhoff (€ 63,000), Nicolo Calia 7th and 8th Elnajjar Bassam who repectively go back home with € 47,000 and € 32,000. The next stage of the European poker tour will be held in Vilamoura, Portugal from August 27th to September 2nd, 2010.
