Association Paloise de Poker : Preparing for major tournaments

Estimated at 1.6 million in 2009 to 2.5 million today, the number of poker players in French clubs are increasing. It is from this realization that the founding president of the Association Paloise de Poker (APP), Franck Denizot, presented the inventory of poker in the city of Pau. More than a wish, this first responsible of the APP advanced his vision of having his own professional team for 2011. With its 3rd place at the last championship of France of clubs, the Association Paloise de Poker's ambition is to send two professional players for next year, to take part in major tournaments like the Partouche Poker Tour and the Spanish Poker Tour.

To do this, President Frank Denizot explain that the association will support the cost of travel, accommodation and registration of players. In return, they commit to donate 60% of earnings. Moreover, the 150 active members with all those who would like to be part of the adventure will have a huge task to keep in top positions of various high-level qualifiers. The Association Paloise de Poker had talented players like Jean-Christophe Amblar ranked ninth among the 105 players at the tournament San Sebastian Paradise and who won € 1,500. The founding president of the APP concluded that poker is not just a money game, it is a sport that requires endurance, strategy and psychology.
