Women players : Kathy Liebert, Annie Duke and Obrestad lead the top of biggest gains

Usually representing 5% of players in the poker circuit, women are not forgotten so far in terms of earnings. Here they are ranked in order of money pocketed during their participation in various tournaments in the world. Ranked 41st in the mixed men and women standings having won the most money, the 43 years American, winning a million dollars in money prize and a title of the Poker Million cruise in 2002, Kathy Liebert took the Number 1 ranking with $ 5,717,426. At the No. 2 ranking is Annie Duke, with $ 4,270,549, Champion of the Tournament of Champions in 2004, winning two million dollars. Ranked No. 3 with $ 3,136,532 in earnings, Annette Obrestad as the winners of $ 2,000,000 at the WSOP Europe in London in 2007, aged just 18 at the time.



The No. 4 ranking is Vanessa Rousso with $ 2,639,589 with a very successful year 2009, with a total of 1.3 million dollars earning including the runner-up status of the prestigious NBC Heads-Up championship. Jennifer Harman with $ 2,609,264 occupy the 5th place which is also the only woman participating in Bobby's Room to play the most expensive cash games in the world. The other five players who complete the wealthiest poker table are : Joanne "JJ" Liu with $ 2,412,478, Liv Boeree has earned $ 1,951,353, Vanessa Selbst and her $ 1,700,374, Mimi Tran with $ 1,639,117 and Clonie Gowen as the author of a total of $ 1,639,064 gain close the list of top 10 women who pocketed the most money in poker at this date.
