Women Poker Hall of Fame: Liebert, Harman and Brown as new member

The choice is now sealed for descendants of Eve, who from now will become part of the Women Poker Hall of Fame in 2010 after the public vote. Thus, Kathy Liebert, Jennifer Harman and the late Billie Brown posthumously were the three chosen to join the ranks of current members, namely, Marsha Waggoner, Linda Johnson, Susie Isaacs, Barbara Enright, June Field, Jan Fisher and Cindy Violette. The three new elected will be inducted in September 3rd, 2010 at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas. They gathered the correct profile required by particular selection criteria based on active participation in the development of poker.

Kathy Liebert or Pokerkat is considered as the most consistent player as evidenced by the first place she occupies in the money list of women in live tournament with $ 5,717,426 earnings and the best performance in the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Stars 2009 during which she reached the rank of runner-up with up to $ 550,000. As for Jennifer Harman, she is the most titled woman in big tournaments with two bracelets earned, the one in a $ 5,000 No Limit Deuce-to-Seven Draw in 2000 and another in a Limit Hold'em of $ 5,000 in 2002. Finally, for the case of Billie Green, she is simply one of the great visionaries of poker in the 70s, a pioneer and promoter in the organization of the first guaranteed prize pool tournaments at the beginning of the 80s. In addition, she worked hard to mark especially the growth of many casinos. For information, the vote of Poker Hall of Fame mixed version continues until August 31st, 2010.
