Online poker: New playground of cyber criminals

Proponents of online poker should be very carefull because scams performed by cybercriminals are becoming more frequent currently. They use many strategies to bribe their victims. Among the tricks of these scammers are e-mails hacking announcing majestic news or problems arising in the accounts of players to lead them to visit a different gaming site. In this way, hackers obtain the necessary information to steal accounts. But such a scam should not affect the players because it is obvious that the gaming sites will not solve such crucial details by sending e-mails. Thus, players must pay the utmost vigilance in seeing what kind of message. But if in doubt, inquire about the reputation of the game site is the first thing to do.

Yet, thanks to the evolution of modern technology, scammers have found most skillful tactics and more difficult to detect. According to the security editor GData Software, scammers use spyware or Trojans. These are spyware with which criminals can collect personal data of players without their knowledge. Sometimes, they also choose pseudo-software that allows them to watch the hands of poker players, so they can earn the parties and pocketing premiums. To avoid risks, online poker players should check as often as possible the operation of their anti-virus, use a firewall would be adequate. But what is lasso radical is to verify that the site of game where you play have really a license. By this way, they can enjoy themselves in peace.
