Pieters was for the first time part of the final table. However, it is not his first title because he has already won the title at the Emperor Palace 500 Invitational.

By being the champion of the AAPT Swaziland, Pieters bagged the grand prize of R 1 million. Robert Sham finished third, Matt Train fourth and Bennie Lingerfielder clinched the fifth place. The winner of the AAPT of March, Darren Kramer, was eliminated soon and ranked at the 13th spot.
