Phil Galfond: The young man who begins to be famous in online cash game

Phil Galfond aka "jman" or "OMGClayAiken" or "Sweaty Phil” is a young poker player whose talent needs no introduction. Born in 1985, this young New Yorker recently accomplished great feats in the world of poker. He dropped out like all other enthusiasts of the game and began his pro career in online poker tournaments. He started in Sit & Go but was soon tired of the style of play and wandered into cash games where he accumulated a great success. So he cashed several million dollars. Galfond has met the two stars of cash games including Durrrr and Raptor and all three have agreed to meet in a team named Hollas Bollas who became famous in the world of online poker. But Galfond has also experienced great success in live tournaments.

Indeed, he is part of young players holding a bracelet of the World Series of Poker (WSOP). He only participate in tournaments since 2006 at the age of 21 years. And in 2008, he won the trophy by ousting players likes Phil Hellmuth, Johnny Chan, Daniel Negreanu, John Juanda and David Benyamine at the event $ 5,000 buy-in Pot Limit Omaha. Although the fact that Phil Galfond is not really involved in live tournaments, he still managed to accumulate gain of more than 1 million dollars. His style of play loose and aggressive allowed him to succeed in the poker world and now he decided to create his own coaching site. Although Galfond tends to place himself under the shadow of Durrrr, he began increasingly to build a name.
