ANZPT Queenstown: Victory of Julian Cohen

At the fourth and last day of the tournament Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) Queenstown, there were only 15 participants in the race. After the elimination of Andrew Scarf for the 15th position, Vesko Zmukic recorded a lot of advantages in chips. We can say that the battleship was really amazing. So, a few hours later, Scarf, Serge Wazza, Robert Wang, Jie Gao, Campbell and Tim Melville Macbeth also left the game. The nine finalists differentiate themselves but it was the Asian player Bryan Huang, who won the 9th place, winning a prize of $ 8,030. John Makhlouf also left early. Indeed, he won the 8th place at this ANZPT Queenstown. Nevertheless, he accumulated a large feat in this circuit because he is the only player who gained three consecutive final tables in the ANZPT tournament.

Jason Gray has been eliminated in the 7th place. He couldn't resist too long his opponents’ attack because he had only a small stack. Rewi Emerson, Tim Clarke and Michael Spilkin were also among the outsiders. And after he was ousted by Andrew Watson, Vesko Zmukic rolled to the third place and left the tournament with a premium amount of $ 27,440. The final heads-up was played by Watson and Julian Cohen. Watson had a huge chip lead but only a few shots were sufficient for Cohen to overtake him. Thus, after having demonstrated an exceptional level of play, Julian Cohen aka "Intimid8or32" won the title of the poker tournament of Australia and New Zealand and a great reward of $ 73,630 while Andrew Watson pocketed the second prize with $ 46,860 for his excellent performance during the championship.
