Jennifer Harman: The woman player with $ 2.2 million gain

Although the performance of ladies were not really well during the World Series of Poker 2010, we must still pay tribute to the ladies who dare to confront men on the poker tables. Jennifer Harman is and continues to shine in tournament. Her father introduced her to poker at the age of 8 years and she has already begun to accumulate a great experience by looking him playing. It was during her 21 years as her career as a poker pro has really started. Originally from Reno, Harman was able to learn the game by participating in many tournaments. And in 1996, she made her first entry to the WSOP in Las Vegas. We must say that she has great skill as she finished at the 6th place of the $ 2,500 buy-in Pot-Limit Hold'em Event and was part of the paid list in 1999 at the $ 1,500 buy-in Limit Hold'em. Since this period, she connects promising results. In year 2000, she won her first WSOP bracelet. This victory made her famous in the poker world and in 2002, she won her second bracelet, which let her ranked in the list of the best woman poker players.



Harman's great talent was praised by her friend Daniel Negreanu because apart of her two trophies at the WSOP, she also has excellent achievements in other major tournaments like the World Poker Tour (WPT) where she finished 4th at the No-Limit Hold'em WPT Bellagio Event 2004. Her cash in tournament worth $ 2.2 million and she continues to amaze her fans at her various appearances on the poker tables. Mother at home, Harman has also an exemplary generosity that led her to organize charity tournaments to the benefit of children suffering from kidney disease and an association that fights for animal protection.
