Poker tournament : Mexico and Bulgaria as new destinations
From August 19th to 22nd, 2010, the casino Life del Valle of Mexico will receive a special poker tournament. This is the First National Poker Tournament, a new brand of poker festival ever seen in the country. The tournament will gather a maximum field of 300 participants who will compete for the first title of this new event. Only the 90 best players will compete in the semi-final to select the 10 finalists who will discuss the title in the Grand Final on August 22th. Competitors in this tournament will receive 10,000 starting chips for a level-playing of 30 minutes. A priori, the duration of competition seems short, but competitors will play on electronic tables, which will make the game faster. These electronic poker tables are very convenient because no error could occur. The poker star Angel Guillen will be part of the participants.
Note that the winner will receive a nice bonus of $ 78,000 and a spot in the Latin American Poker Tour Grand Final to be held in Argentina from 22nd to 26th September 2010. Bulgaria will be also a destination country for poker on next September with the tournament Balkan Poker Festival. The casino Golden Sands Resort Varna will be the guest of honor of this magnificent tournament which runs from September 2nd to 5th. The number of participants is limited to 200 players and they must pay a buy-in of € 900 + € 90. These two events constitute a major event not to be missed this summer.
