Ivey and Hellmuth : Challenge between the two Phil

Phil Ivey like Phil Hellmuth are two players who have gained significant reputations in the poker world. The fact that they both bear the same surname has not helped them to build a bond of friendship, contrariwise, both players have launched verbal attacks. Ivey that everybody knows, ranked as the best player in the world has declared on June 19th, 2010 he plans to win 30 bracelets during his career as a poker pro. It is a goal achievable for the Tiger Woods, taking into account his age and his current ranking. But Hellmuth who considers himself as the biggest star of all time has announced that what Ivey said is impossible. He even said Ivey will not beat him in the next 5 years. Note that both players didn't have yet the opportunity to face each other on gaming tables but only in the TV show High Stakes Poker. And most of the time, it was Ivey who was the winner and Hellmuth went back ruined.

A priori, Ivey is likely to dismiss Hellmuth from his pedestal as the statistical viewpoint, the result of the two players does not show much larger differences. Ivey records 22 victories in tournaments, 113 places paid, 8 bracelets of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and ranks at the 11th place of the historic classification of the WSOP. In the other hand, Hellmuth has amassed 20 victories in tournaments, 149 paid places, 10 WSOP bracelets and is at the 10th place. Apparently, Ivey's challenge appears to be a foregone conclusion. In addition, Ivey has a much better behavior than the "Poker Brat" because if Hellmuth comes in a competition place by making a scene, Ivey arrives with the same discretion and the same assurance that award to him a much better reputation inside poker enthusiasts.
