UKIPT Brighton : Jamie Burland as champion

The United Kingdom & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) Brighton has just concluded and was marked by a victory of the British player Jamie Burland. This player, even not well known has already accumulated a very good result in the poker world. Burland was indeed at the 4th place of the Grosvenor United Kingdom Poker Tour on last June 12th. In Brighton, he was qualified for the final table of this tournament at the Main Event of £ 1,000 + £ 100 buy-in, a meeting held at Rendezvous Casino in this city. The UKIPT Brighton attracted 259 players and 8 of them were qualified for the final table, who included Jonathan Campbell who finished in 8th place, Andrew Youens (7th), Waseem Ahmed (6th), Jonathan Spinks (5th), William Beauchamp (4th) and Bill Seber (3rd) who bagged for this magnificent performance a nice price of £ 24,600.

The final head's up was played between Jamie Burland and Cibak Tomas, a native of the Czech Republic. The battle between the last two finalists has been quite exceptional, but Burland quickly dominated the game and has been crowned champion UKIPT Brighton with a reward of £ 65,400. The runner up of the poker tournament took home the second prize of £ 40,100. An excellent premium rightful thanks to his enormous talent. This UKIPT Brighton was a wonderful meeting point for fans of poker and the next appointment will be held from next August 19th to 22nd.
