World Poker Tour Bellagio: Phil Ivey in the final

Competitors in the final table of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Bellagio are finally known. Indeed, among the 353 initially enrolled, only 6 were able to reach the final table. French players have registered a stinging defeat in the tournament because if the French poker community expected on the talent of Guillaume Darcourt, this player did not even access the paid list. As for Patrick Sacrispeyre, he finished in the 13th place. This is a beautiful performance that earned him a great reward of $ 33,986. But the favorite of this tournament was none other than Phil Ivey, considered as the best player in the world. After winning his eighth bracelet at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, he is on the way to win a WPT title again because actually, Ivey is one of the finalists with 1.45 million chips in hand.

However, this final will not be easy for the Tiger Woods of poker at the moment because he is preceded by three very talented players including John Caridad, who holds the largest stack 5,200,000, an advantage that will allow him to block Ivey road to victory. There is also Justin Smith, the holder of the second biggest stack and ranked at the 3rd place at the stage of last year. Not to mention the champion of the European Poker Tour Deauville in 2009, with 2.1 million chips in hand, Moritz Kranich. In any case, the final promises to be exciting. Among the known players awarded at this tournament are the young Annette Obrestad, Dave Ulliot, Men Nguyen, David Baker and Joe Hachem.
