Prop bet: Ted Forrest win a bet of $ 2 million against Matusow
The poker community is maybe used to the crazy bet of Mike Matusow. Indeed, Matusow aka "The Mouth" is aptly named because many times, he reveals incredible things. On last May 5th, he proposed a challenge worth two million dollars or 90,909 dollars per kilogram to Ted Forrest if he succeeds in losing 22 kg until July 15th, 2010. And last July 13th, Ted Forrest demonstrated to Matusow on the scene of the Rio Pavilion room that he won his bet. During the weighing, Forrest has lost more than 22 kg because he weighed 62.73 kg. Forrest then won the promised sum. However, he said he has not been motivated by money at stake but he wanted to prove the relation that anything is impossible, a very good cause which earned him anyway the great prize of two million dollars.
Everyone knows the tenacity and willingness of Ted Forrest in the case of a challenge. Indeed, apart from its broad authority on poker tables, he is a good punter because even at the peril of his life, he made every effort to win the challenge he wanted to meet. Once he took up the challenge of running in Las Vegas in the summer. He won that challenge that earned him a stay in hospital for dehydration. And once again, he achieved the impossible. Mike Matusow knew very well what to expect in offering this challenge and must therefore fulfill its commitment to Forrest.
