WSOP Main Event : Many big favorites eliminated during Day 2B

The Main Event of the World Series of Poker 2010 in Las Vegas continues its merry way. During the second day of the Main Event 2B on last Saturday and after few hours of fratricidal conflict, the verdict declared 1,359 survivors among the 2,734 players on the list. The results were surprising because many favorite players are now out, among them are the legendary Doyle Brunson, player who enjoyed a standing ovation as he left the table, the favorite Phil Ivey who was unable to repeat his feat of last year, or Roland De Wolfe, Hevad Khan, Andy Bloch, Dan Kelly, etc. A sad day for these players, who in the past have been able to raise the standard and reputation of this famous card game.

But as the misery of some make the happiness of others, other lucky players have outstretched a nice game and they are still in the race for the famous WSOP bracelet like Vanessa Selbst, Jason Mercier, Humberto Brenes, David Chiu and Allen Cunningham. In this lot, there is still the presence of some players such as Jean Paul Pasqualini who stands as French player chip leader, he is in 10th place with 260,000 chips, Damien Rony, David Benyamine and Christophe Benzimra did not unworthy with tokens above the average. The fairer sex is represented by two Vannessa, Hellebuyck and Rousso. Three players from Quebec have brought up the francophone colour namely, the Quebecois David Assouline chip leader with 387,800 chips while Charles Sylvestre and Vincent Jacques ranked respectively 6th and 14 th position. Today will be vital as promising for the last 1,359 remaining players.
