WSOP Ante Up for Africa : Phil Gordon was the winner

In a very convivial atmosphere, 83 players started the charity tournament Ante Up For Africa of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2010. The event of $ 5,000 buy-in attended many celebrities which included Hollywood stars like Ben Affleck, the actor of "Everybody loves Raymond” Brad Garrett, the woman poker player particularly interested in charities Jennifer Harman, Shannon Elizabeth, Jerome Bettis, David Allan Grier, Montel Williams, Andy Bloch, Greg Raymer, Rafe Furst, Chris because Affleck removed from the tournament due to a headache. Tournament organizers, Don Cheadle and Annie Duke were the first to walk on the red carpet under the camera of the media attending the event.



It was Phil Gordon, who grabbed the trophy when he ousted the lovely Shannon Elizabeth at the final head's up. Indeed, Gordon managed to reach this final place while the final table sported great talented players like Claire Renaut, who finished in the 9th place with a prize of $ 12,998, Erick Seidel as 5th runner with a reward of $ 30,287 and Carter Phillips at the fourth place, which is his greatest victories at the WSOP 2010. For the occasion, he pocketed $ 130,641, a sum he offered to the Ante Up For Africa Association. Note that this is a charity tournament to support victims of the humanitarian crisis in Darfur. And this year, the tournament managed to raise approximately $ 300,000 for these unlucky.
