Poker : 80% of players are addicted

80% of poker players take drugs to improve their performance. This surprising figure was obtained by the Nova Southern University in a survey of poker players, a revelation that surprised more than one. This study began during the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas last year and was continued in the four corners of the world. According to the study, each player has a way to improve his or her performance in the game and most players older than twenty years surveyed, admitted they take this king of substances. Is defined here as drugs : marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, guarana (like energy drinks), caffeine ... They are used by these players to let them "awakened" on a poker table especially to have a natural resistance during tournaments. It appears that these substances help to increase their expertise and their concentration.

In response, Kevin Clauson, doctor of pharmacy and university professor said the effects of these substances last only a given time, so a player take it just before a game. He thus warns young people that sooner or later, taking these substances can have disastrous consequences on their health in the long term. Note that the substances mentioned above are only a few examples, but the publication of the study results from Nova Southern University hasn't yet specified the exact percentage of poker players who dared to declare to the real drug.
