Frank Kassela : A rising poker player

Frank Kassela is a big business man from Memphis who has a passion for poker. He grew up in Chicago and has already played card games since he had 11 or 12 years old. After completing his studies at the age of 25, Kassela moved to Memphis to begin his career as an entrepreneur. At the time, he began to play poker only sometimes. In 2000, he entered for the fist time in the competition at the Main Event of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) on an unplanned decision. He returned without any success but since then, he regularly takes part in the championship. He also played frequently while winning cash games in Tunica. According to Kassela, a successful businessman and a talented poker player are quite similar, for both, the goal is to lose money to win even more. His success in business enabled him to participate in much higher level tournaments and winning a WSOP bracelet was one of his dearest wishes.

This year, his wishes have come true because this big entrepreneur fan of poker has won two WSOP bracelets by becoming the champion of the Event Seven Card Stud Eight-or-Better of $ 10,000 buy-in and $ 2,500 Razz Event where he pocketed $ 660,000. After 10 years of testing in the WSOP Circuit, Kassela finally succeeded and the two victories he had, propelled him to the rank of famous poker players holders of two WSOP bracelets. Kassela is currently dexk to deck with John Juanda in the ranking of the Best Player of the Year of the WSOP and he is in the 21st place in the Card Player's Year-Long Player of the Year.
