WSOP TOC 2010 : Juanda, Raymer, Farha, Ivey and Seidel as first eliminated

22 of the 27 former champions or holder of a World Series of Poker title are still in the competition after four levels of play for one hour each on the three tables gathering the elite of the world poker in the Tournament of Champions at the Rio Casino, in Las Vegas. Five holders of 18 WSOP and WSOPE bracelets were forced to leave the game during the Day 1. John Juanda was the first victim of Jennifer Harman during the first day of the tournament. Later, Greg Raymer, Barry Shulman, Sammy Farha and recently Phil Ivey, rejected by Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, have followed John Juanda.

After the Day 1, the standings for the Tournament of Champions denotes Erik Seidel in the first place with 72,075 chips, who once the four levels completed took part in the $ 5,000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi / Lo tournament to snatch the fifth place of the final table by winning $ 85,800. The current chip leader is closely followed by Johnny Chan to rank number 2 and holding 71,325 chips, and Mike Matusow at the third place. The rest, that is to say the other 19 elite players are very far from the top three. To note in passing that the WSOP still continue to attract a lot of players like the Event # 47 which brought together 3,128 participants in Day 1A for a total prize pool of $ 2,815,200, including $ 485,791 for the winner.
