WSOP Events # 32 and 33 : Papola and Velador as winners

The 23rd day of the World Series of Poker 2010 in Las Vegas saw the attribution of two more bracelets in the Events # 32 and 33. It took four hours to count before the audience see to emerge the final victory in the Event # 32 of Papola Jeffrey. He faced Men Ngyuen, seven times champion, including during the Event # 10 Seven Card Stud World Championship of $ 10,000 buy-in of this year, and becomes first player alongside Michael Mizrachi and James Dempsey at the classification Player of the Year 2010 of the WSOP. The young champion from New York in the $ 5,000 No-Limit Hold'em / Six Handed garnered some $ 667,443 in front of the 567 participants and he already distinguished himself in the Event # 26 No-Limit Hold'em / Six Handed of $ 2,500 buy-in in June 17th, 2010 for a sum of $ 391,068 and 1,243 registered players. He now has a gain of 1.1 million dollars. In the Event # 33 $ 2,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em / Omaha, the suspense was real for this poker tournament that pitted a group of 14 players invited at the Day 3 from the 482 enrolled at the beginning. Phil Ivey and the future winner, Jose-Luis Velador, who finally won the title and $ 260,517 offered a beautiful duel along this tournament. The former champion of the $ 1,500 No-Limit Hold'em tournament for a gain of $ 575,000 in 2008 had finally played for the formality before winning his second gold bracelet just before midnight face to David Chiu in the final battle.
