WSOP Event # 35: Good performance of Ludovic Lacay

French players accumulate more and more exploits at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2010. In the $ 10,000 buy-in Heads'up event, a poker player from France has indeed finished in the 5th place and won, thanks to this ranking a wonderful prize of $ 92,580. It is Ludovic Lacay aka "Sir Cuts”. Indeed, last Sunday, the 25 years player form Toulouse was eliminated by the Russian player Alexander Kostritsyn. Despite his competence and the level of play he has shown, Lacay hadn't resist the attacks of the Russian player. Thus, he had to leave the tournament to rank in the 5th place. It's still a magnificent achievement and we can say that the French poker community was widely represented at this tournament.

The magnificent result of Ludovic Lacay last Sunday was more than deserved because actually, this avid of poker has accumulated many awards during his career. He has now recorded $ 1.5 million earnings in tournament and last year he was placed 16th in the Main Event of the WSOP without talking about his three paid places in the side event. Lacay also performed well in the tournament of the World Poker Tour, the European Poker Tour and the Barrière Poker Tour of 2009 during which he won a € 1,500 buy-in Side Event. Waiting to pick up his first major trophy at the WSOP, Ludovic Lacay has defended the French honor with his classification.
