Las Vegas : Comeback of Deeb and Galfond in poker tables

Two Events of the World Series of Poker have been marked by the return of Shawn Deeb after six months of break on the poker circuit. He reached the 164th spot with a gain of $ 3,163 in the $ 1,500 NLHE won by Praz Bansi and earned a sum of $ 3,750 for his 86th place in the $ 1,000 NLHE won by Steve Gee. The American player has been noted among others during his participation in the Ladies Event contest, masked and dressed as a woman for the occasion. In addition, Shaun Deeb, who explained the reasons of his decision to come back on poker tables, including a better approach of the game, acquiring a more relaxed attitude and a new vision of reality, has unveiled his calendar after the WSOP. He plans, inter alia, participation in the European Poker Tour Tallinn, in Europe in order to stay there a long month.

On the other hand, luck was not on the side of Phil Galfond for his return in Las Vegas during which he recorded a loss of about $ 200,000 on tables of $ 500 / $ 1,000 of Bobby's Room, the outcome of his first participation in cash games. He did not give up as long as he has been present at other WSOP Events to mention only the World Championship Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better. Unfortunately for him, he left empty-handed. For the record, Phil Galfond won a bracelet in his last victory in a $ 5,000 Pot Limit Omaha.
