Casino Barrière of Cannes : Victory of Antoine Saout in the side event

Last Sunday, Antoine Saout has been part of participants in the € 200 side events held at the Casino Barrière of Cannes. Under the preparation for the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, this player had chosen this tournament to train before he had to face the greats of this card game. That Sunday, three tournaments were held in parallel with the final of the € 1,500 Main Event. Antoine Saout had also participated in another side event of € 210. Remember that he is not a player like another but a player who arrived in the third place at the WSOP Main Event 2009. He was last year the pride of France, thanks to his performance, a first in the history of French poker. Saout has maintained throughout this tournament his aggressive technique that let him to reach this rank. Although the amount earned that tournament of Sunday was not worth the millions at stake in the main event but he still used this event in order to properly prepare for the WSOP.

Antoine Saout admitted that he actually want to participate in as many tournaments as possible during this event in Las Vegas to have a better chance to win prize money but especially this time to go home with a WSOP bracelet. Regarding the classification of this € 210 side event, Cedric Desini was in the second place with a gain of € 3,100. Then Jose Astima who won the sum of € 2,350, and Sayed Souhila with his € 1,700. And in the fifth place, we find Marc Guedj and his gain of € 1,200 . The WSOP promise a fight of titans and even if they are in full progress at this time, anyone hadn't the true forecast about the potential winner as each has his unique advantage.
