WSOP 2010 : Big French players also present at the event

Poker enthusiasts around the world are since last weekend completely in the atmosphere of the World Series of Poker (WSOP). About sixty tournaments await enthusiasts of this game that attracts players from around the globe. Las Vegas will be for French players the land of revenge. They really want to be in the head of the list this year and win some bracelets against their poor performance of last year. This is why France is present in these WSOP 2010 with major players, these are indeed "biggest" French poker players of the circuit who are there. Like the French David Benyamine who lives in Las Vegas for several years now, he is in the lot of the best poker players in the world. At 38 years old, he is known as the most powerful of French players. Having behind him five years of games, he has already won the Omaha Hi / Lo tournament in 2008 with 535,687 dollars.

Then there is the young Bertrand Grospellier, 29 years old knows under the pseudonym of ElkY. He is among one of the best French players of the last three years, to not to say that he is the number one of French players. Specializing mainly in online poker, with gains of over 2 million dollars, he defends well his profile in live tournaments. There only thing that miss at his record is a first WSOP bracelet. There is also the prodigy of 24 years, Ludovic Lacay. Having ElkY as model, he had no difficulty to stand out from the mass of new players. In 2007 he came second in the standings of the World Poker Tour (WPT) in Barcelona and 16th at the WSOP. For a beginner, it's more than a record, a performance that required some effort. But apart from these big names, there are also players who are starting to talk about them and coming slowly to make their way in this vast jungle. France may be proud of its players who will not hesitate to fight to hold at least one title this year.
