Melbourne Poker Championship : The success of Brendon Rubie

The Main Event of the tournament Melbourne Poker Championship closed its final day of competition on Monday at the majestic Crown Casino of Melbourne, Australia. The battle was very animated. After the draw for seats, the 10 finalists began the final. The first elimination took place after three hours of play when Jarred Graham hadn't resist the unstoppable attacks of Minh Nguyen. The runner-up of the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) 2010 tournament, Andrew Skarf, then followed after a defeat by Mark Iskander. After the departure of Skarf, disposals have increased in speed, leaving only the heads'up final. Thus, a final head's up look like a tennis match was played between the chip leader of the final day, Brendon Rubie and Minh Nguyen.

Nguyen was hotly debated and sometimes earned large benefits but ultimately, his efforts and talent have not been sufficient to deal with the skill of Brendon. Then, after a game panting, Nguyen was eventually relegated to the second place and leaving with the reward of 83,780 U.S. dollars for his performance. The winner of the Australian Championship title is Rubie Brendon. This young poker ace won not only the magnificent sum of $ 118,000 but a record of which more will be added to his two magnificent trophies at the 2010 Adelaide ANZPT and the Asian Pacific Poker Tour 2009. Mark Islander pocketed $ 56,060 as the third winner of the Melbourne Poker Championship tournament just-concluded with the crowning of Brendon.
