European Masters of Poker : Giovanni Sutera as the best player

The fourth stage of the season 2 of the European Masters of Poker Tournament (EMOP) has to close. This edition was held in a charming town of Italy, in the Casino di Campione. Several poker stars have participated in this exceptional championship and after two days of battles, the competitors for the final stood out. Thus, the final table of this Italian EMOP had seen the qualifying of three local players who are Fabio Percopo, Giacomo Caci and Giovanni Sutera, including two Finns Janne Pitko and Atte Koskivirta, two Swedes Matz Svensen and Kally Ly and two Slovaks Primoz Tomaz and Ureka Kogovsek.



The Main Event of the EMOP Italy of € 1,100 buy-in has gathered a field of 386 participants. These finalists have managed to win in front of many poker ace and although some of them have been eliminated, we must accept that they have already demonstrated excellent performance and are among the best during this competition. Thus, local players have been the most successful because the final was between the two Italians Sutera and Percopo. In this remarkable duel, Sutera showed his great talent and skill and finally win. He earned the opportunity for a reward of € 85,220 while his compatriot Porcopo merely the price of the runner up of € 52,245. The next stage of this tournament will be held at the casino Sunny Beach in Bulgaria from next July 28th to August 1st and poker enthusiasts eager to be part of the adventure can take part in qualifying satellite tournaments.
