WSOP 2010 : The starting signal !
And they're off to the World Series of Poker 2010! The eyes of poker fans are turning at Rio casino in Las Vegas. All the big names of the poker world are attending this event which kick off was given on Friday, May 28th. Sixty tournaments will be played during one month. The Rio will host for the last time this championship because organizers had planned to produce the future editions of the tournament in their own home. 27 bracelets will be offered to winners of the 2010 edition. Having started with a tournament reserved for casino employees, the place was then given to the Poker Player's Championship worth $ 50,000, a very expensive tournament which only great famous and very wealthy players had access. They were 116 in all.
The one of the major point of the WSOP is that it is an opportunity for all players to participate. Apart from the costly tournament participation fee, there are also other low-cost, 1,000 or 1,500 dollars. Different poker games will be featured during the WSOP and each player will have the opportunity to play his better hand in his specialty. On June 11th will take place the tournament for women and on June 18th, will be the turn of the Seniors, these are players from the castings which poker enthusiasts participated online. On June 30th, another big event is planned with an entry fee of $ 25,000 with 6 players. Just before the Main Event on July 5th, players will have the honor to be part of the table whose earnings will go to charity, the Ante Up For Africa. The WSOP, like each year, is therefore a very popular event.
