Sarlat-la-Caneda: For a responsibly poker!
The fever of poker never fails to extend its influence throughout France. The phenomenon has been installed for months in the town of Sarlat-la-Caneda thanks to the initiative of two associations dedicated to the most famous card games. Indeed, despite their young age, Perigord Poker Club just like Sarlat Holdem Poker Club can boast of being responsible for organizing numerous poker tournaments. Incidentally, people who attend the associations concerned recognize the vital role played by programs devoted to poker initiated by the renowned Patrick Bruel in the development of the discipline at home in France. Regarding the first association, strong of its 72 members, it invited no later than Thursday all poker enthusiasts at the bowling Osmoz.
The special feature of this association is the tendency to not put money first. The members play certainly not only to win big bets, however this does not detract from the presence of a healthy rivalry which motivates each participant. In addition, all events take place in a friendly mood. Participants come to the various tournaments organized by the association to learn from others and refine their techniques and ways to play poker. The other association do as better as its colleague especially as it already has in its ranks as many members as the Perigord Poker Club. The Sarlat Holdem Poker Club has made the fight against addiction-related games one of its missions, or priority. According to officials of the association, notions such as pleasure and mutual help are more important than financial interest.
