WPT Paris : A long-awaited comeback

The World Poker Tour will make again an appearance in France after having gone beyond its borders since 2005. This is the sumptuous setting of the Aviation Club de France which sits on the prestigious Avenue of Paris that will be its host. French poker enthusiasts will therefore once again attend the extraordinary festival of poker they like so much. The starting of the tournament named WPT Grand Prix de Paris on the Champs Elysees with a Warm Up of € 1,000 buy-in has been a resounding success because it managed to gather 156 participants. The coronation of this opening event returned to Costa Battaille, a regular at the club. He will therefore receive a ticket to the major event in addition to the price of € 42,789.

The championship had begun on Saturday, May 8th, 2010, and many poker enthusiasts as the great Roger Hairabedian, Patrick Lellouche, Patrick Bruel and Ludovic Lacay will be present to battle the price of High Roller € 25,000 and the Main Event € 10,000. Both championships will be broadcast for the delight of fans and poker enthusiasts from France. Competitors in the Main Event will fight for five days to climb into the list of six finalists who will sit at the end on Saturday, May 15th, 2010. This beautiful big tournament had started and it gave to poker players of the Hexagon a great opportunity to succeed to the champions of previous events who include Christer Johansson, Christian Grundtvig, David Benyamine, Roland De Wolfe and Surinder Sunar.
