Tignieu-Jameysieu: Illegal poker discovered by the police

Suspicious for several months for holding illegal poker games in the basement of the hotel Arax Tignieu-Jameysieu, in Isère, France, Bourgoin-Jallieu police have developed a plan to find the maneuvering. They have already made inquiries and have watched the place many times and finally their efforts were rewarded because they have discovered the actors in the act. During this operation, customs officials, tax authorities and the prosecutor of Bourgoin Jailleu were with the police.



According to a reliable informer, illegal poker stood at this hotel which offers various services such as bar-tabac, hotel, restaurant and retail outlet PMU for two years. The hotel owner charged as a misdemeanor and the couple manager were immediately arrested and cautioned because they are charged with conducting illegal gambling but they also violated tax regulations according to Attorney Cedric Cabut. Moreover, during the searches carried out against those involved in this illegal gambling, investigators surprised thousands of Euro cash. The hotel is closed while investigations continue.
