Debate : Is poker a common cards deck?

While many French players of online poker (players and operator) are preparing for a revolution with the new law on the opening of the market to competition, their quoted experts in the discipline continue to constitute evidence to show that poker is not only a common card game in which chance intervenes very little and that poker should not obey laws that restrict numerous games of chance. Jean-Paul "Jupiter" Renoux, an important character of poker SNG in the French country, took part in the translation of a book published in the respected Two Plus Two Internet Magazine, the book is simply titled “Le poker est bon pour vous” (“Poker is good for you”).

Wrote by a famous American poker theorist David Sklansky, and the psychologist Alan N. Schoomaker, the manual gives the appearance that poker is much more than gambling and that this game all by itself may be a personal development program, this program is also taught to students of the École Française de Poker (French School of Poker). Thus, it teaches that poker would develop the sense of realism, for example, acceptance of adverse situations, the game allows the player to adapt to different contexts and also improves relationships between individuals excluding any form of racism, machismo. Poker helps players to better plan its objectives, to concentrate on essentials and apply the theory of probabilities.
