Denis Balbir : To comment High Stakes Poker on the French channel Orange Sports

The crossing of the Atlantic of the popular American TV show dedicated to poker “High Stakes Poker” will be done with a French and a Canadian. Everyone know it now since the beginning of the month, the journalist Denis Balbir will support the beautiful Isabelle Mercier to animate the show High Stakes Poker. This sports journalist reiterates what he has already done a few years ago, that is to say, animating a show dedicated to poker. Denis Balbir made his beginning on TV Sport as a sports journalist, and he then passed a short time on NRJ before landing on M6, in the years 1990. He stayed 17 years on this latter to comment on the greatest moments in European football, he has on his meter more than 800 matches. He then abandoned the encrypted channel for the benefit of public television to present the magazine "France 2 Foot".



It was during his time on Canal + that Denis Balbir was for two years, from 2005 to 2007, commented a poker show. He marked the arrival of the World Poker Tour (WPT) on Canal + in commenting it alongside Patrick Bruel. When Denis presented the WPT on this channel, he and poker was two, but he never tried to conceal it. It did not take long before he contracted the poker virus. The journalist will again present a poker show on Orange Sport from May 20th. For viewers poker enthusiasts, the decision of the channel to give this event to experienced commentators will only give more interest to this TV emission.
