ANZPT Sydney High Roller: Triumph of Jonathan Karamalikis

The eyes of impassioned of poker are on the Star City Casino located in the port city of Sydney where the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour 2010 is held since the beginning of this week. Before the highly anticipated Main Event which began on Wednesday, those who arrived there were introduced to a variety of preliminary events on all variations of poker for all budgets. Many big names were present at the Day1 which brought together a total of 164 players. Could be seen during the first day players like Andrew Jeffreys, Chris Levick, Kristian Lunardi, Rennie Carnevale, Nik Lackovic, Karl Krautschneider, Simon Watt, Aaron Benton, Scott Smith, Bill Jordanou, Eric Assadourian, Brendon Rubie, Donna Ciric.



At the end of the day, four players have surpassed the 100,000 chips. Shannon Chapman is leading with 123,500 chips, he is closely followed by Ricky Kroesen with 123,000 and 113,400 for Brad Bower. At the end of Day 1, 71 players have survived to reach the Day 2, which begins Friday. While the Main Event was in full swing, the $ 12,000 High Roller event was concluded. Among the 29 players who have registered for the event, there was Jeff Lisandro, Billy Argyros, pot 'FlopNutsOnYou Graham, Ben Delaney, Jay Kinkade SEABEAST and Van Marcus. In the end, it was Jonathan Karamalikis who triumphed and took home $ 116,000.
