European Poker Tour: Beginning of a series of battle at the casino of San Remo
The European Poker Tour (EPT) has just begun in the magnificent casino Remo on Thursday, April the 15th. On April the 21st of this year, 8 players will be in confrontation on a table broadcast after a big suspense which will last 7 days, time in which these players of poker will begin the eliminating phases to end in the final table. During these various phases, the public will also bring his participation. Two titles will be discerned and the public will have for role to elect : the best performance of the year and the choice of the public. The results will be publicised on April the 22nd. This stage of the EPT of San Remo is decisive for several players because it is the last stage before the finale of the season in Monaco planned between the 25th till the 30th of April.
A long list of poker players having obtained attractive prize lists during their careers is there during this stage of San Remo which begins. Joe Cada and Peter Eastgate, the last two world champions during the World Series of poker (WSOP) will be present in this big event. Other players who must not be underestimated are also part of the tournament such as Jason Mercier, winner of the same stage two years ago or the French Bertrand " Elky ", Grospellier. Besides, Ludovic Lacay and Antony Lellouche, Kool Shen NTM, are also a member of the list of participants. As in every edition, the European Poker Tour attracts as much the amateurs as the professionals. Last year, we had counted more than 1.000 participants, more exactly 1,178. And as the luck can smile to everybody, it was a young Dutch, Constant Rijkenberg, who took away the kitty € 1,508,000.
