Television: The Poker Channel will speak French

"We are happy to launch a channel that is 100% French, and finally give both advertisers and viewers what they hoped for so long. This is a fantastic opportunity to promote the game to an even wider audience, from beginners to pros, "said Chris White, CEO of The Poker Channel. French poker fans will be glad because they will soon be able to follow 24 hours a day programs in the chain Poker Channel, all in the language of Molière please. For this, the chain will take the name Poker Channel France. In this new project, the owners of the chain will offer to their advertisers a way to reach new targets to achieve a broad base of potential customers.

The launch of this new channel dedicated to poker for French viewers is scheduled for June 8. Until here, the chain has a potential audience of over 4 million subscribers. Poker France Channel will be available to subscribers of Numericable, Freebox Neufbox (SFR) and Bbox (Bouygues Telecom), and offers a French-language coverage of all major poker events like the European Poker Tour (EPT), the World Poker Tour (WPT) and of course the World Series of Poker (WSOP). The channel will also broadcast tutorials as well as daily news and exclusive tournaments. The launch of the channel has been specially designed to coincide with the liberalization of French online games this summer. The Poker Channel said that it is in advanced talks with several major operators of online games on an exclusive partnership for long-term marketing which will begin in June.
