Grosvenor UK Poker Tour: Only a few days before the stage of Manchester

Like any self-respecting big tournament, the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) also feature an exciting milestone this month. Specifically, the step of Manchester will be played from April the 21st to the 26th at the G Casino. For this tournament very English, many online qualifiers took place, tournaments that were open to all enthusiasts and fans of poker. They started in mid-February, the month of commencement of the first stage of the tournament during the 2010 season, and lasted until late November, shortly before the grand finale in London. Indeed, the organizers have done that each stage can be accessed by playing satellites. By paying only the entrance fees from £ 0.55 in those games online, packages may include buy-ins ranging from 1,000 to 2,500 pounds for the tournament and the cost of hotel accommodation can be won by the best.

Note that the grand finale of the GUKPT will take place at the same place as the final of the 2009 edition, at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London. Last year, there were 183 players who generated a prize pool of £ 549,000 through a buy-in of £ 1,500. For now, this is Tony Cascarino who holds the chip lead of this meeting of poker with £ 168,800, and he is followed by the French businessman and director of communications of LVMH, Antoine Arnault, who had pocketed for his turn £ 107,100 for his 2nd place in the London stage in 2009.
