WPT Bucharest: Victory of the French Guillaume Darcourt Team Poker 770

Team Poker 770 has proved that it belongs to the best teams of poker during the stopover of the World Poker Tour in Romania. Indeed, the sum of € 125,750 was won by the French player Guillaume Darcourt who has appropriated the title of WPT during this step. Of the 161 starters for the poker tournament on March the 27th, they were only six players who were qualified for the final table. Placed at the 2nd position, the player of Team Poker 770 reached the place of chip leader after having eliminating two players in two shots, and finished in a duel with Simon Muenz. It was after a hard and extremely active heads-up that he acquired the victory over the German player.

Starting with a modest prize list of € 500 won at the Hold'em Series 2007 in Paris, Darcourt has climbed to the 7th place at the Open of France, which took place last March in Mandelieu. We can say that he has made a "gamble earned" by granting the 125,750 Euro from the World Poker Tour Bucharest. The buy-in was relatively low for this Romanian stage if we take into account the reputation of the game because it cost only 3,300 Euro. The classification of gains of the six players who participated in the final table is therefore as follows: € 125,750 to the champion Guillaume Darcourt and € 93,400 for his final opponent Simon Muenz. Then for the rest: Joe Ebanks 59,750 Euro, 36,600 Euro for Jose De Laguardia, 30,550 Euro for Atila Abdula, and 23,150 Euro for Eva Loisif.
