WPT Bucharest 2010: Guillaume Darcourt on the final table

Guillaume Darcourt is the French member of the team pro Poker770 temporarily leading the game in the third day of the World Poker Tour which takes place in Regent Casino of Bucharest. He will be one of six finalists contenders for the $ 125,846 that totaled the $ 3,300 buy-in paid by each of the 161 players who participated in this event of the World Poker Tour in Romania. Many celebrities of poker are part of the participants like Praz Bansi, Casey Kastle, Dragan Galic, Sorel Mizzi, Alain Medesan, Russell Carson, and the finalists for the EPT Snowfest. We particularly distinguish the Spaniard Carlos Mortensen who was recently awarded the largest prize pool ever generated in this competition. He was one of the favourite of the tournament, but failed to overcome since the first days of the competition.

French players, including Antonin Teisseire, were not left out in Bucharest and we even found Guillaume Darcourt and Thomas Bichon in the money. Note that this latter found himself in the 12th position by being eliminated in the Day 3 and he was returning home with a $ 5,400 consolation. Currently leading the final, Guillaume Darcourt had ousted Viktoria Szilasi and Gheorghe Gradinaru successively, and the German Simon Munz. If Darcourt is positioned at least at the fifth place in Bucharest, he will win at least one row in the Partouche Poker Tour 2008. Note also the unusual incident that occurred on the first day of the WPT Bucharest. Considering that one player monopolized the only masseuse at the tournament, the owner of the football club Steaua Bucharest has literally exploded. Accustomed to such aggression, he is suspected of wanting to get out of the tournament like a star, being in any way on the verge of elimination.
