Auckland Poker Tourney: Angie Fitzgerald won the title

In the lair of the majestic SkyCity Casino of Auckland, New Zealand, Auckland Tournament Poker Tourney held the grand finale with 108 participants in this race last Sunday noon. SkyCity Casino housed therefore a good card fight where these players have struggled to qualify for the head of the tournament. Many great poker players, accustomed to the set of the tournament were present at the day of the finals as Mike King, Dan Sing, Richard Lancaster or Brooke Howard. But efforts maintained by these famous figures in the world of live poker circuit and Auckland have been unsuccessful because none of them has gained access to the places of honor. In fact, for the first time, the title of this major tournament in Auckland was won by a woman.

Angie Fitzgerald, a player of unparalleled talent and worthy of a true poker pro has demonstrated her capabilities at the final table of this tournament. She managed to win the championship at this meeting, which earned her a great success especially in the final head’s up that faced her to Simon Watt. She knew how to dominate her opponents and her efforts have been greatly rewarded. For this victory, Fitzgerald went home with the tidy sum of $ 32,000 plus the title of Champion of the Main Event Deep Stack Lee Nelson, 2010. It is a beautiful prize to mark the career of this talented poker player. For the runner up of the competition, Simon Watt, he pocketed $ 21,000.
