Investment: The Ho family couldn't conquer the United States

The Ho family can't invest through the poker tables and game rooms in Atlantic City. Pansy Ho, daughter of macanas billionaire Stanley Ho can not take the 50% share of the casino complex in New Jersey. The affiliation with the patriarch's crime syndicate of Macau is one of the reasons of this decision. The Commission on New Jersey's casinos formally objects to the fact that the Ho family can invest funds in the United States. Even if the investment concerns only Pansy Ho, the authorities deemed unreliable because of the connections of his father. If the complicity of Stanley Ho, with criminal gangs has never been demonstrated, the authorities are not on good terms with the king of casinos in Macau.

The U.S. Commission for the control of casinos within a 75-page dossier clearly indicates that Stanley Ho is undesirable in the second American city of the game although no official report has proved the Ho family with the Mafia. The United States is not alone in disdaining to grant a gaming license to Stanley Ho, starting with Australia, which is the first to refuse to issue a license for casino management to Stanley Ho because of his ties with the Macanese Mafia. Back in 2002, the gaming authorities in Nevada had already refused consent on a proposed partnership between MGM Mirage and Stanley Ho because of the links cited above.
