ECPT: Good performances for French players in Barcelona

Euro City Poker Tour (ECPT) is the name of the youngest European poker circuit. In a short time of existence, the tournament Euro City Poker Tour have become a very popular appointment to French fans of poker. The first stage of ECPT of the 2010 season began on last Thursday, March 18 in the Gran Casino Barcelona. This stage was distinguished by the existence of two super-satellites for the Main Event, the entrance fee for these two satellites qualifiers was €115. Also new for this ECPT Barcelona, the buy-in for the Main Event was set to € 2500 + € 50 ,an increase of € 1.000. This increase in the price of entry has guaranteed a minimum prize pool of € 500,000.



Many French players have done the trip to Barcelona such as Pascal Perrault alias PP the Bandit, Alain Roy, Manuel Bevand Stephane Gerin and his wife Rebecca, Fabrice Soulier, Alexia Portal, Jamel MAISTRALI, Nicolas Levi, William De La Gorce Tristan Clémençon Clement Thumy William Dacourt, Christophe Benzimra. Three French have managed to reach the final table : Fabrice Bachelez, Rebecca and Christopher Gerin Benzimra who respectively finish second, 5th and first. Fabrice won € 170,000 for this beautiful performance. Rebecca Guerin, left the poker tournament with € 110,000 while Christophe Benzimra closed the French performance and bagged € 30,000. Recall that 40% of players who came to participate in this tournament are from internet qualifications.
