WPT Bucharest: Organizers have added two Side Event
If until now, the World Poker Tour were mostly concentrated on the USA for some time, it is becoming pervasive. Indeed, the brand wants to promote more and more tournaments in Europe. He announced the next stage of the World Poker Tour in Romania shortly before the announcement of the return to France of the World Poker Tour on the Champs Elysée and the unexpected arrival of the World Poker Tour Amneville. The Main Event of the Romanian trip will take place on March the 27th to April the 2nd at City Center Hotel Novotel Bucharest. In addition with the 400 places of €3,000 buy-in for the WPT, organizers have added a group of super satellites from €150 + €15 and two side events of respectively buy-in €500 and €1,000.
"We want WPT Bucharest to become a major event on the international poker scene," said Sorin Constantinescu, responsible of the casino. To accommodate the players, a welcome party is planned before the kickoff of the Main Event on March the 26th at 20 p.m at the Space Club, near the Novotel Hotel. The super satellite and side events will begin on March the 20th. "WPT Bucharest will be unique and one of the most exciting stages of the World Poker Tour," said WPT president Adam Pliska. Because of its proximity to Bucharest and France, he is sure that the place will be besieged by many tricolor players. It will include Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier whose participation in the main event has been already confirmed.
