WPT Bay 101: McLean Karr, the new king

The World Poker Tour Bay 101 vintage 2010 has come to end. They were 333 to register for this edition against 391 last year. The level was very high because many stars of poker like Gus Hansen, Steve Brecher, TJ Cloutier, Hoyt Corkins, Tom "Durrrr" Dwan, Freddy Deeb, Daniel Negreanu, Chris Ferguson, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Jennifer Harman, Kathy Liebert, Mike Matusow, Jason Mercier, Greg Mueller, Gavin Smith and Yevgeniy Timoshenko were present at the competition. At the beginning of the final table, the list of great player was reduced in a very fast way, because among the stars Phil "Poker Brat" Hellmuth was the only survivor, Scotty Nguyen failed at the door of the final table. "The Master Men" had finished the tournament at the eighth place.

Phil Hellmuth approached the final table calmly because he had in his possession the second biggest stack in the final. He could dream about his first title at the World Poker Tour, which until now has never really smiled to him. But fate willed otherwise, because the terrible child of American poker was the first ejected from the table. The title was played between Andy McLean Karr and Seth and the first will take over after a protracted head's up. Hostilities broke out after that the two rival received each a pair, 8 for Karr and 4 for Seth. These good hands are finishing logically by an all-in.
