JOA Poker Tour: Back to the second edition

The first edition of the live poker tournament organized by the JOA group has not received be success expected by organizers because poker players were not scrambling to take part. But as the group shows a real interest in live poker tournaments and will not admit defeat, it will put it on the table. On Tuesday, the casino operator announced that its live poker tournament is back for the second season. The great news is that this tournament provides1,000,000 Euro non-guaranteed prize pool in perspective and the winner of the Main Event will receive a check of 300,000 Euro during the final to be held on August the 27th.



Based on the same principles as major international poker tournaments, there will be various types of satellite qualifiers (Satellites, SnG, Super-Satellites) with very affordable buy-in. These satellites will be held from April the 9th to August the 8th, 2010 in 13 JOA casinos which are : Aix-les-Thermes (09) Canet-Plage (66), Caesar Palace to St Paul les Dax (40), Gerardmer (88) Antibes (06) Le Boulou (66) Les Pins Les Sables d'Olonne (85), Luxeuil (70) Montrond (42), Port-Crouesty in Arzon (56), Santenay (21), Saint-Jean - de-Luz (64) and Uriage (38). Casino La Siesta in Antibes will host the final round. The Main Event is scheduled in the week of the 22nd to the 27th August 2010. Organizers expect a field of 500 players for this last meeting of the year. Each player who will participate in the Main Event had to pay € 2,500 (2,300 € + 200 €).
