Durrr Challenge: Tom Dwan mauls Patrick Antonius

Last year, the young prodigy of poker Tom Dwan had shaken the poker world by issuing a challenge out of the ordinary. The challenge in question did not target a particular player, it was open to the entire poker community. Tom Dwan called the best poker players in the world to live a confrontation. His challenge is simple, sit at the table with $ 500,000 and the blinds is $500/ $1000. The player who challenge the confrontation must play at least 500 hands. Three players have taken up the challenge; Marcelo Miragliano, Sammy George, Ilari Sahami.

This year, Durrr Challenge is back with a slightly different formula. If Tom Dwan finish with a negative balance in the challenge, he will give $ 1,500,000 to his opponent more the gains in the challenge and pocket $ 500,000 if they win. The results of the latest confrontation between Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius of Finland, which took place on Monday revealed that the young "Durrr" still leads the dance. He even shows a comfortable lead of $ 1,755,708 and the two players have already played 33,343 hands on the 50,000 planned. With such gap, the victory of Tom Dwan is almost certain. He can therefore expect to win the prop-bet of $500,000. It remains therefore 16,758 hands, session in which Patrick Antonius had to rectify the situation.
