Budapest Open 2010: Won by a Dutchman

If the media had deserted the Bulgarian capital due to the European Poker Tour in Berlin which took place at about the same time, poker enthusiasts meanwhile came in droves. 460 players showed up at the start of day 1A and 1B. The tournament thanks to its affordable entry fee has attracted many French players because fifty-one of the 460 players at the event were French. Five French have managed to enter the money among them Michael Donteville, who was the best tricolor performance with a 24th place worth € 4029. At the end of 4 days of intense competition, it was ultimately the Dutchman Anthon-Pieter Wink who won the coronation after the face-to-face with the Swedish Peder Skaj, pocketing at the same time the 172.500 € price reserved for winner.

The last straight line was disputed between Wink and Skaj, it was tense and tight, the Dutchman took the advantage by using his opponent who eventually ended up bursting. The Swede had to settle for a respectable 2nd place, but he still returned home with the tidy sum of 114,400 Euro. As for the winner, he attended with smile the ritual check remittance and has lent the game flashes of photographers after celebrating his victory with other Dutch players. This victory will surely be covered by the magazine about poker Card Player because he is simply the editor of the Holland version.
