Liberalization of online poker: The law does not make everyone happy
Besides being able to play with "legality", the application of the new law on the opening of the market of online gambling is not an advantage for online poker players. This law has its inconvenience for French poker player, some lovers of the sport who reside in the hexagon may see red. First inconvenience taxes. It will increase so palpable. Second constraint, it is on the choice. The French poker players will be forced to play on websites .fr comers and players of .com sites will not be authorized to face French players. The big gap in this new law according to Alexandre Dreyfus is that "it reduces the choice of play and the possibility of tournaments. It is the economical benefit of La Française des Jeux which was privileged at the expense of players".
